Freitag Rauw

Letzten Freitag Rauw u.a. mit Slagsmålsklubben aus Schweden. Elke und Maren waren zu Besuch. Konzert/Party/Wochenende: sehr fein. Mehr von Samstag/Sonntag folgt in Kürze.

Last friday: Rauw again. this time (amongst others) with Slagsmålsklubben from sweden. Elke and Maren came from cologne and it was a nice concert/party/weekend. Pictures of saturday/sunday coming soon.

Ijmuiden

Mit dem Luftkissen-Schnellboot ("Fast Flight Ferry") kann man von Amsterdam in 30 Minuten zur Küste düsen. Fahrräder werden kostenlos mitgenommen und das ganze kostet hin&zurück 7,50€. Wenn das Wetter schön ist, lohnt sich das echt - auch aufgrund der nicht anwendenen Hotelbunker, die einem in Zandvoort zu Hauf die Sicht versperren. Wir hatten (das war letztes Wochenende) das klassische Amsterdammer Wetter: Morgens Sonnenschein und wenn man endlich draußen ist, ist der Himmel doch verhangen.

Starting in Amsterdam, you take a ride to the coast with a hovecraft. It's not so expensive (7,50€, including a bike). and if the weather is nice, you should try it out once. The beach is a bit better than the one at Zandvoort (no big hotels). (That day (one weekend ago), it was typical Amsterdam weather: Sunny and beautiful in the morning and grey after leaving the house.

Wir wollten uns mit einer Freundin von Miri treffen, deshalb mussten wir beim überfüllten U-Bier-Ding anstehen. ↓
planning to meet up with a friend of Miri, we had to wait outside of the U-Bier-Ding.


Der Türsteher war ein lustiger Niederländer, da hatten wir dann gute Karten, nachdem wir ihm ein Kölsch spendiert und ich mit ihm ein bisschen fachsimpeln konnte. ↑
The doorman was dutch (even came out Amsterdam), so we made him like us by buying him a beer and sharing dutch insider information. :D

Die Innenstadt war am Ende ziemlich zerstört. Aber großartig, nachts noch mit der U-Bahn nach Hause gefahren...
The city was kind of messy when we went home. Or.. even better, when we were walking to the metro that brought us home in the middle of the night!

Viktor & Rolf in Utrecht

In Utrecht ist noch bis zum 8. Februar die Ausstellung "The House of Viktor & Rolf" zu sehn. Eine sehr gut gemachte Übersicht aller Kollektionen aus 15 Jahren Geschichte der zwei niederländischen Designer. Aus allen Kollektionen sind das oder die herausragendsten Entwürfe ausgewählt und mit sehr viel Hintergrundwissen gespickt präsentiert. Zusätzlich zu den lebensgroßen Stücken gibt es auch ein Puppenhaus mit kleinskalierten Entwürfen. Phänomenal verarbeit und gleichzeitig entzückend!

kann man sich alle Kollektionen angucken. Auf Video und als Einzelpräsentation. Großartig!


You can see the Exhibition "The House of Viktor & Rolf" until the 8th of february in the Centraal Museum Utrecht. It's a great presentation of all collections of the past 15 years made by the dutch design duo. One to three designs where selected and put into context with a lot of interesting background information. Additionally to the normal pieces, there was a doll's house with scaled designs. Híghest quality and so cute!
