Nicht ganz anderthalb Jahre bei Blogspot und jetzt ziehe ich um.
Zu Tumblr. Der Name bleibt gleich... beamsterdam.tumblr.com.
Vieles bleibt auch gleich, aber es gibt ein anderes Layout, u.U. verschieben sich auch die Themen ein bisschen und an der Kommentar-Funktion feile ich noch...

Aber ich hoffe, ihr bleibt mir treu, bei tumblr ist es auch nett.

ich fahr spontan nach Mailand.
Von morgen früh bis Montag abend bin ich anwesend.

Am Wochenende gabs in der Oude Kerk eine Art Designflohmarkt. Organisiert von Mind what you wear, einer Plattform für mehr Konsumbewusstsein. Darum habe ich mir auch nur einen Button gekauft.








Last weekend, there was a sort of design flee market in the oude kerk. organized by mind what you wear, a platform that wants to bring awareness about what you wear and consume. that's why i only bought a button.

Kreditkrise allerorten

Heute in der Volkskrant (Danke Max, fürs Abonnieren) eine sehr kluge Darstellung der Verknüpfung von Kredit- zu Wirtschaftskrise. Ich hab es für euch ein bisschen übersetzt. Typografisch wars vorher auch nicht so richtig hübsch. Aber anschaulich.

Verantwortlich für die Grafik ist Remy Jon Ming verantwortlich. Seine Website ist gerade offline, aber er hat glücklicherweise auch einen Blog (niederländisch).

Woonbeurs Amsterdam

Samstag mit Volker (der hatte Freikarten) noch schnell zur Woonbeurs Amsterdam gehuscht. Super viele Endverbraucher waren da, haben für 17€ Eintritt wohl Inspiration für neue Hauseinrichtungen gesucht.
Ansonsten eine interessante Mischung von allerlei Zeug. Unterteilt war es in die Hallen Design, Style, Decor und Home. Design war natürlich mit Abstand am interessantesten.

Saturday, I went with Volker (who had free tickets) to the Woonbeurs Amsterdam. A lot of consumers had paid the entrance of 17€ to get some inspiration for renewing their house. The four halls of the trade fair were: Home, Style, Decor and Design. Sure, design was most interesting.

Hacking Ikea

Gestern abend zu Hacking Ikea gewesen.
Ausstellung bei Platform 21, am Beatrixpark. Da musste ich doch hin. Es gab vorab in der Presse einiges Lob, war auch ganz nett und mit ein paar interessanten Ideen, aber nicht superdupersuper.

Closing Party / Opening Week

Gestern noch bei der Droog-Party unter der Brücke gewesen. Mal wieder hippe Menschen, und wieder keine Fotos gemacht. Schlechte Musik, schicke Location, hübsch arrangiert Neon-Beleuchtung und Freigetränke.



Yesterday we went to the Droog-Party under the bridge. Again, hip people and no photos. Bad music, chique location, beautiful neon-lights and free drinks. Probably all you need.
